I have gotten this to work with Homehub 3000 and TP-Link AC1900. I am also on Bell Aliant. I plugged the AC1900 from LAN1 on Homehub to "Internet" on AC1900 (which is the WAN). Logged into the Homehub Router and added the device found in Advanced Settings>Networking>DMZ (including checking Advance at the bottom).
